"Major Chang was a senior student of Du Shen Wu and taught among other things Liu He Quan and Zirenmen.
She was a close combat instructor to the Chinese commandos and Women's militia at Changsha and Baoding during the Anti-Japanese war. Her brothers and sisters were all martial artists and her older brother was a Hunan provincial martial arts champion.
